The ASU libraries are a great resource for students to use when doing research. Not only do the libraries have books, but they also have many different articles about many subjects. When the library does not have a book that a student needs, they get it from another library.
When doing research, most students google the subject that they are looking for. The results on Google can be written by anyone. When a student searches for a subject, most of the time Wikipedia would be one of the results. On Wikipedia, anyone can write about a subject or modify it. Google shows many results that were not written by professionals. Marc Mason said, “As you begin your college career, and begin doing college-level research, your instructors are likely going to begin giving you assignments where you aren’t allowed to use Google or other free resources.”
Henri Frederic Amiel once said, “Everything you need for better future and success has already been written. And guess what? All you have to do is go to the library.” The library has books and articles about every subject that a student is looking for. Without using library resources, a college student would most likely fail since some of the professors require students to use library resources. Moreover, library resources make a student’s paper more convincing.
To make things easier for students, library has a website. Students can find everything on the website. They can even look up books that they need or search for the articles that they need. Marc Mason said, “The Ask-a-Librarian button appears on all of the Libraries’ web pages, and it’ll make your life a lot easier.” This is a way for students to reach a librarian at anytime they need help.

The ask a librarian option is way too cool. It helps a lot! You can't call up Google and get personalized help!
I think Google is so over-rated by most people. They should just use the sources that are directly available to them.
I agree that Google is not the place to find articles and information not just for a research paper but for most assignments in class. Even if you are not required to cite in the assignment, you don't want to look like a fool by displaying the wrong information.
Google is definitely overrated! It doesn't even provide reliable resources. You pay a lot of money in tuition, so take advantage of what the libraries provide!
I agree with everyone. Way too many people depend on google only because it is a fast and easy way to find information.
I agree with you too many people rely on google and they do not know that the work that they will be getting scholarly work
I did sustainability, so by reading your post i was able to learn a lot about the asu libraries.
